Mike and Norma have been involved with Hockey has Heart since it's first gala back in 2003 and became directors shortly thereafter.  Mike's day job is a barber at the Korner Barbers in Farmington. Mike and Norma share a passion for their 25 acre chestnut farm, LaFever Chestnuts, in Fenton.

Mike and Norma are consummate "hockey people."  Their son, Wade, played hockey since the age of 5 and played on numerous championship teams including the Catholic Central Shamrocks and Bowling Green Falcons club team.  Mike provides the color commentary for most CC games streamed on the internet.
