Growing up in the Detroit area Doug has always had hockey in his blood.    As a player,  past travel and high school coach his 45 plus years of hockey experience were his reasons to serve the hockey community and give back to the sport.  

Doug has been involved with Hockey has Heart since 2019 and became a Director soon after. Doug ran a Hockey League at the Cranbrook Wallace Ice arena and used that for his first "fundraiser" that provided HHH with a nice donation from charity games.  

Doug’s current job is with General Motors as an Advanced Chassis Designer and works remote from Naples Florida. Since moving to the Sunshine State, Doug and his wife, Alisa, enjoy the beach, golf, paddle boarding and biking.
